DWDM C-Band 100GHz Spacing Table

Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) in the C-band with 100GHz spacing is a widely adopted technology in optical communication. It allows multiple optical carrier signals to be multiplexed onto a single optical fiber by using different wavelengths (frequencies) of laser light. The C-band (Conventional band) typically ranges from 1530 nm to 1565 nm and is favored due to its low attenuation and compatibility with Erbium-Doped Fiber Amplifiers (EDFAs).

The table below lists the ITU grid-based channel numbers, corresponding frequencies in THz, and wavelengths in nm for channels 1 to 72.
