CWDM MUX/DEMUX Duplex 8ch, MON port and UPG port. LGX4-SP
High-Performance CWDM MUX/DEMUX Solution
This 8-channel CWDM MUX/DEMUX supports duplex operation across a wavelength range of 1270 nm to 1610 nm, with ±20 nm channel spacing, ensuring optimal bandwidth utilization for high-capacity fiber links.
Key Technical Features
Wavelength Range: 1270–1610 nm (configurable variants)
This wide range of CWDM wavelengths allows you to maximize fiber utilization by transmitting multiple data streams over a single optical fiber.
Channel Spacing: ±20 nm for CWDM compliance
The standardized 20 nm spacing ensures compatibility with CWDM systems and minimizes interference between adjacent channels.
Insertion Loss:
Multiplexer Typ. 2.55 dB (Max 3.0 dB); Demultiplexer Typ. 2.58 dB (Max 3.0 dB)
Low insertion loss means minimal signal degradation, preserving optical power for longer transmission distances.
Isolation: ≥30 dB (adjacent), ≥40 dB (non-adjacent)
High isolation between channels prevents crosstalk, ensuring clean signal separation and superior network performance.
Return Loss: ≥45 dB; Directivity: ≥50 dB
Excellent return loss and directivity reduce back reflections, improving signal integrity and protecting sensitive optical components.
Polarization Dependent Loss: ≤0.1 dB; PMD: ≤0.10 ps
Extremely low PDL and PMD guarantee stable performance even in high-speed, polarization-sensitive applications.
Ports: LC/UPC Senko® connectors with MON (monitor) and UPG (upgrade) ports for flexible network expansion.
These ports allow real-time signal monitoring and easy scalability without service interruption.
Fiber Type: SMF-28e
Designed for standard single-mode fiber, ensuring compatibility with widely deployed optical infrastructure.
Operating Temperature: -5°C to +75°C; Storage: -40°C to +85°C
Broad temperature tolerance makes it suitable for harsh environments and outdoor installations.
Form Factor: LGX4-SP (152 x 190–215 x 21.5 mm)
Compact LGX module design fits seamlessly into standard racks, optimizing space in dense network setups.
