DWDM MUX/DEMUX Duplex 8ch, MON port and UPG port. DIN Rail Rugged

Wavelength range

Industrial-Grade DWDM MUX/DEMUX for Rugged Deployments

This unit is a duplex 8-channel DWDM MUX/DEMUX unit designed for DIN rail mounting in harsh industrial environments. With integrated monitor (MON) and upgrade (UPG) ports, this unit delivers high-performance wavelength multiplexing with robust signal integrity and environmental resilience.

Key Technical Specifications

8 CWDM Channels
Supports eight ITU-T G.694.2 compliant wavelengths from 1270 nm to 1610 nm, enabling efficient fiber utilization for metro and access networks.

Low Insertion Loss
Typical insertion loss of 2.55 dB (MUX) and 2.58 dB (DEMUX) ensures maximum optical power budget for extended reach and additional passive components.

High Channel Isolation
≥25 dB adjacent and ≥35 dB non-adjacent channel isolation minimizes crosstalk, guaranteeing signal integrity for mixed-rate services.

Integrated Monitoring and Upgrade Ports
MON ports allow real-time optical power monitoring, while UPG ports provide a seamless path for future wavelength expansion without service interruption.

Compact LGX4 Form Factor
Fits standard LGX shelves for high-density deployments, simplifying installation and reducing rack space requirements.

Carrier-Grade Performance
Ultra-low PDL (≤0.2 dB) and PMD (≤0.2 ps) deliver stable performance for high-speed applications, even under varying environmental conditions.

Wide Operating Temperature Range
Designed for harsh environments with a storage and operating range of -40°C to +85°C.

Standards-Based Design
Built with Corning® SMF-28e fiber and LC/UPC Senko® connectors for compatibility with existing infrastructure and industry best practices.
